Title: Skype crashes under Windows XP run under Virtual Box on Ubuntu

As soon as launched Skype crashes with an "I want to send a report to Microsoft" message.

Solution that worked for us: In Explorer go to the skype.exe location and right click the file name, select Properties, and the choose the Compatibility tab. Set Skype to run as under Windows 2000 and click Save, and all should now work properly.
