A sudden thunderclap today brought the usual calls from people saying their computer wouldn't start after the storm. Thunderstorms are bad for computer equipment (but good for business as we get called out to fix them).
Although we love helping with your computer problems, our advice is always to be prudent and, at the first hint of a storm, unplug your computer gear from both the electrical power socket and from the phone line, so damage via those circuits can't occur.
It's always better to be safe than sorry, but if you have been caught out by a storm and your equipment no longer works, just give us a call on 01524 781306 and speak to Barry.
